At the India AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi, Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, praised India’s rapid AI adoption, calling it a global leader. He said India will become one of the largest AI markets and acknowledged AI’s impact on jobs, adding that new and better opportunities will emerge.
